ABOUT THE WING CENTER
We are a vibrant, multi-generational hub of community activity!
Once a bustling senior center, our operations slowed during and after COVID-19. Recognizing the opportunity to rejuvenate this beautiful space, we reimagined it as a welcoming environment for all members of our community.
To reflect this new vision, we embraced a name change. Wanting to be inclusive of all ages and interests, we unanimously chose “The Wing Center” in honor of Gloria Wing, whose decades of dedication have been the heart and soul of our organization.
Located in downtown Morrisville, Vermont, The Wing Center offers:
-
A spacious, open area that comfortably seats up to 60 people (maximum capacity: 99).
-
A full commercial kitchen, perfect for catering, hosting events, or launching your home-based food business. (Hint: Our spot is ideal for pop-up meals!)
Whether you’re planning a one-time event or seeking a long-term lease, we look forward to sharing our space.

THE DEDICATION
On Saturday, Oct. 7, more than 60 of Gloria's family, friends, and admirers braved the rainy weather to share heartfelt memories, excellent food, and lots of laughs. It was so wonderful to get together with everyone that the board decided we must do it more often!

THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
On June 11th, Gloria Wing received the Jim Marvin Lifetime Achievement Award from the Lamoille County Planning Commission. When accepting the award, she shared how much she enjoyed working with Jim when she served on the LCPC board of directors. Gloria also won the Jim Marvin Excellence in Community Service award in 2005.
